Redcor Steel Garden Edging
Shapescaper Redcor Steel Garden Edging is a premium weathering steel solution designed to develop a natural protective “rusted Corten” patina over time. As it weathers, the surface forms a stable oxide layer that protects the steel while delivering a rich, architectural finish suited to modern Australian landscapes.
Available in 1.6mm, 2.0mm and 2.5mm thicknesses, Redcor edging is engineered for strength and longevity. It’s suitable for both residential and commercial applications, offering clean, defined borders for garden beds, pathways and root barrier protection.
The edging enhances landscape aesthetics while helping prevent soil erosion and controlling turf spread. It can be formed into gentle curves onsite, with tighter radius curves available as custom orders. Installation is straightforward, requiring basic site preparation before securing with stakes and connectors.
Redcor steel is virtually maintenance free. Once exposed to moisture, the weathering process begins and typically develops fully within 6 months to 2 years, depending on environmental conditions. The protective patina can also self heal minor abrasions, ensuring long term durability and performance.
By clearly defining landscape elements, Redcor edging supports easier garden maintenance while adding value and visual appeal to any property.
