Does the installation price include the steel edging?
Our standard per metre rates include 1.6mm Redcor edging and standard installation. Additional work, difficult access, removal and unusual ground conditions may affect the final quote.

Can you remove my existing garden edging?
Yes, removal of old timber, plastic, brick or other garden edging can be included by arrangement. Photos will help us estimate the additional work.

How long does corten steel edging last?
Corten steel is designed to last decades. The rust like surface forms a protective layer that prevents deeper corrosion.

Does corten steel fully rust through?
The weathered outer patina helps protect the underlying steel and slows further corrosion. Like all steel products, performance and lifespan depend on drainage, soil conditions and the installation environment.

Can corten steel edging be shaped into curves?
Yes, corten steel edging can be shaped to create flowing curves, straight lines and defined corners.

Can I use corten edging in Melbourne conditions?
It performs well in suitable Melbourne garden applications and requires very little  or no ongoing maintenance when correctly installed with appropriate drainage.

Do you offer supply without installation?
Yes, our DIY Corten steel edging kits are also available for delivery or pickup.

Before installation begins, we confirm the proposed lines, curves, corners and finished edging height with you.

4. Supply and Installation
We supply the required edging and components, complete the installation and leave the immediate work area tidy.

Can’t speak highly enough of Peter who not only provided the magnificent steel edging but also removed the unsightly fake brick material that surrounded my front garden before installing the Corten Steel.
