Staking Methods

Choosing the right staking method for your Metal Garden Edging System depends on your specific project needs. As a general rule, stakes should be at least twice the profile height for optimal support.

Ribbed Stakes are ideal for edging profiles between 75mm and 185mm in height, providing excellent strength and stability for most standard applications.

For general installations, we recommend using three stakes per 2.4m length of steel, evenly spaced. Each stake has a pre-drilled hole at 813mm for secure screwing.

Typically, stakes should be positioned with one in the center and one at each end, approximately 400mm from the connection point.

The required stake length will depend on your soil conditions for maximum effectiveness.
